“Before you are a leader, success is all about growing yourself. When you become a leader, success is all about growing others.” – Jack Welch
The LLR Corporate Education Program (LLRC) has quickly become one of Life’s most sought-after products. Based on the New York Times bestseller – Launching a Leadership Revolution, by Orrin Woodward and Chris Brady, the LLR Corporate Program is designed not just to train employees, but to gradually and effectively develop existing talent into engaged, contributing and go-to leaders.
Because of the effectiveness of the program, one university faculty member made the decision to use Course 1 of the LLRC Program as the basis for his 3-credit summer course called Leadership for Managers, at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point.
Dr. David Schalow is an entrepreneur who has built a million dollar real estate business, has a PhD in Finance, has industry experience in insurance, investments and real estate and has over 30 years of teaching experience at major universities. Here is what Dr. Schalow had to say about the LLRC Program:
“I am excited to use Life’s LLRC Course 1 program as the foundation for my Business 322 Leadership class at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point. When I found the Life materials, I knew that it would be effective for my leadership class.
I have taught leadership at the university level for many years, but had actually stopped teaching it because I was so disappointed in the typical leadership textbook materials that were available. The traditional treatment was so boring and oriented around theory that I did not feel the students were receiving legitimate value beyond three more credits to use toward graduation. There was nothing in the books that they could really “USE” every day to transform their lives.
When I saw the materials in the LLRC Program and noticed that it included some of the classic books in the leadership field, I was immediately interested. The choice of books and supplemental audios are amazing. Each one of the books and audios has the potential to be a life changing experience for the students, if they come to the table with the right attitude. In fact, even if they don’t have the right attitude, the materials will help them develop the right attitude.
When I teach the leadership course, I am trying to change their lives forever. That is why I teach! The LLRC Program gives me the raw material to help them in all the key areas that are necessary for them to succeed in life:
Leadership: Critical to the Success of Every Organization
Attitude: Develop the type of attitude that attracts people to you and causes them to want to help you accomplish your goals.
People Skills: 85% of Your Results are going to come from your people skills, not your technical skills.
Developing Trust & Respect: Learn how to develop the trust of others. No one will follow you without this element.
Performance: Learn how to get results from both yourself and others. Results matter. Do what you say you will do, and ahead of schedule!
Communication: Develop the skills to persuade others to your point of view.
Imagine how their lives are going to change for the better after exposure to this life-changing information. I am really excited to be able to facilitate this leadership course using the Life materials. Now the pressure is really on. The course materials are awesome, now it is up to me to be awesome!” — Dr. David Schalow (Ph.D, CLU, ChFC, CFA, CFP, Business Faculty, University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point)
Currently, the LLR Corporate Education Program subscription includes 1 book and 4 audios monthly, and is available for 6, 12 or 18 months and each course includes test questions, answers and a certificate of completion.
Life is excited about the results that Dr. David Schalow received after teaching Course 1 of the program to his Leadership for Managers class at the University of Wisconsin- Stevens Point. Because of the overwhelming positive responses to the class, the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point will again offer this class during the Summer of 2017 and Fall of 2017.
