“I believe that we are put on this earth to give and devote ourselves to a radical brand of generosity that changes lives and leaves a legacy.” – Kristen Schill
On Saturday, May 6th, 2017, Life Members from the Revolution organization gathered together in multiple states to participate in Life on Life events that would bless the lives of people in various communities. Check out some of the projects that they did:
Third Phase – Noblesville, Indiana
Life Members served at Third Phase: a homeless shelter, thrift store, and food pantry in Noblesville, Indiana where they painted the food pantry, hung a ceiling fan, repaired a fence, pulled weeds, moved items into the dumpster, and changed light bulbs.
“Serving is happiness. What a blessing to be able to give back.” – Karin King (Life Member)
“It was such an awesome experience working with wonderful people helping others and I felt blessed to be able to do it.” – Cathy Hofmann (Life Member)
“It was so fun!” – Bethany Brown (age 7)
“You were all amazing! We got it all done and then some. We made Peggy, the caretaker of the house and food pantry manager, cry!” – Kristin Jarvis (Life Member)
“This food pantry now looks how I have always wanted it to look. I could just cry!” – Peggy Fulton (Food Pantry Manager, Caretaker)
“Absolutely speechless at the generosity and helpful attitudes. The men worked so hard with their tasks. Even the children were such hard workers. The work ethic was amazing and with such heart. We are so appreciative to all of you and all that you did.” – Janet (Administrative Assistant at Third Phase)
Widow’s Link Project – Alabaster, Alabama
Life Members served multiple needs at Widow’s Link: a small group program that connects widows in the church and community through spiritual support and healing.
Helping a Military Widow – Biloxi, Mississippi
“We helped an 85.7 year old woman name Ms. Fumiko from Tokyo Japan move in to one of our rental properties. She called on one of our rentals and decided to move to Biloxi, MS from San Antonio, TX. She is a military widow and after her husband passed last year, she decided to sell her home and move to the coast where they always wanted to move back to after being stationed at Keesler Air Force Base many years ago. Ms. Fumiko has no family or friends in the Mississippi Gulf Coast and took it upon herself to move on her own. Greg and I helped her get her belongings packed and arranged for her and her household goods to relocate to Biloxi, MS. We knew she would need assistance so we spent all weekend helping her move in. We know this is also the beginning of our mission to assist her. Not only did we gain a friend with Ms. Fumiko, but the life lessons that we have also learned from her of courage, dreaming, persistence, and never to give up, are priceless.” – Miriam Baumgartner (Life Member)
Carriage Town Ministries – Flint, Michigan
Over 50 Life Members, along with AGO Spokesman Chris Swanson, came out to serve at Carriage Town Ministries in Flint, Michigan. The volunteers worked in various areas around the property including working in the pole barn, gardening, yard work, and sorting clothing.
“It was an amazing feeling to be able to help out and see everyone come together to serve an organization that helps so many people. It was a humbling experience and it reminded me to be grateful for all that I have been blessed with.” – Kevin Langlois (Life Member)
“Serving at Carriage Town Ministries was a powerful reminder of the power of “community.” Working with several guys to move and spread a HUGE pile of compost made it real to me how much can be accomplished by a team working together for a specific goal.” – Pat O’Donnell (Life Member)
“It was amazing helping out the people at Carriage Town. It was great knowing that we could help them get through EVERYTHING they needed with the help of many hands. I loved being there with our team and meeting the people of Carriage Town who work there on a weekly basis. So blessed to be part of it.” – Laura Sparks (Life Member)
“It felt wonderful to work side by side with the residents. They enjoyed our company and were grateful. It’s heart warming to be up close and personal with them.” – Ann Greene (Life Member)
“Once again I had the pleasure of attending another Life on Life Initiative in Flint, Michigan. It never ceases to amaze me that good people always come together when there is a mission. In this case, it was the Carriage Town Mission. That’s what happens in the Life community. Good people serving together. Never forget when you serve, you are being used as the voice for the speechless and the hope for the hopeless. Now that’s an honor!” – Chris Swanson (AGO Spokesman)
Thank you to all of the Life Members who participated in these Life on Life events from the Revolution organization, under the leadership of Marc and Kristine Militello. Your service and contribution truly made a difference.
Peggi Kern says
In addition to the amazing things that the Revolution did to serve others, the same day a small group from the Revolution met at a church in Livonia, Michigan! This group spent the day painting, cleaning up the landscape and made some small donations!! It is a awesome feeling to lock arms with a group across the nation and spread small seeds of kindness. The pastor of this church was so humbled and grateful for the random acts by these people who do not even attend his congregation.
Chris Craft says
We had an amazing time ministering to the widows in Alabama, who were brought to us through Marlene Craft and the Widow’s Link organization!
What a life changing movement to be a part of – the Life on life initiative is truly changing the world by ministering to individual people’s lives! Thank you to all who participated!

We had a blast @ Carriage Town Mission. It’s a blessing to be able to help others with no strings attached!!! God is good to us and we have to be a blessing to others. This is just another reason why “WE” love what we do for a living with “LIFE LEADERSHIP”
