“Life Leadership’s compensated community is a platform for people to have fun, make money, and make a difference!” –Orrin Woodward
“Magnet-bombing” — It started as a simple act of fun, and has since evolved into something so much bigger! A couple of months ago, CEO of Life Leadership, Chris Brady, thought it would be entertaining to cover the entire passenger side of Rob Hallstrand’s car (COO of the company) with magnets that advertised the company’s logo.
Rob proudly represented the company as he drove around the city where the corporate office resides for several hours–without knowledge of the artwork that he was featuring. The bombing wasn’t discovered until later that evening when his daughter climbed into the passenger seat of his car and asked why it was covered in Life Leadership magnets. This is when the act of “magnet-bombing” was birthed.
Being the good friend and business partner that he is, Rob knew that it would be unfair to allow Chris to have all of the fun; so he waited several weeks before planning his attack. The perfect opportunity came when Chris pulled into the parking lot of the corporate office and was forced to park in a different spot than normal–and where the passenger side would not be visible during Chris’ return to the car. This is when Rob beat Chris at his own game when his car was also “magnet-bombed.” Chris, too, drove around the city for several hours unaware of the artwork advertised on his vehicle.
The laughs that were shared as a result of each other’s car décor inspired the new trend that is now causing Life Leadership Members everywhere to want to participate–and to do so with a purpose! The announcement and confession by Chris Brady on stage at the Summer Leadership Convention started the craze of “Packer-bombing,” “FF-bombing,” and “LL-bombing”:
As you can imagine, “magnet-bombing” is a lot of fun—especially for the attacker. And like you’ve already read, in Life Leadership we strive to have fun, make money AND make a difference. That being said, CEO Chris Brady officially announced the “Life on Life magnet-bombing for charity” Initiative at the convention this past weekend. Currently, Life on Life magnets are being created and will be available for purchase on the shopping cart. In the meantime, you can continue to use your Life Leadership magnets to “bomb” your teammates. Here are the game rules for participants:
Life on Life
FOR THE ATTACKER:
- Purchase a ton of “Life on Life” magnets on the Life Leadership shopping cart (when available).
- Plan your attack: pick a teammate you want to magnet bomb and do so strategically.
- Take a picture – showing you with the magnet-bombed car (if possible)!
- Post on social media: #lovelifeleadership #lifeonlife
FOR THE RECEIVER:
- You just discovered you have been magnet-bombed: Take a picture!
- Post on social media with the note I got bombed: #lovelifeleadership #lifeonlife
- Represent the Life on Life Initiative and go serve in some capacity in your local community.
- Take pictures and post them on social media telling us how you served. #lovelifeleadership #lifeonlife
- Pay it forward 🙂 …and magnet-bomb someone else in your team!
The goal of this fun new activity is to individually and consistently make a difference by serving and giving back to those less fortunate. Ultimately, this is the main purpose of the Life on Life Initiative! Over time, we will feature stories of the many ways that you’ve served in this magnet-bombing mission.

So far, we haven’t been “magnet-bombed” but we did buy a ton of magnets (beware!) and our kids are playing hide-and-go-seek with the magnets on the frig! So excited to be able to add another element of FUN to our serving!

The LIFE co-founders certainly have no problem coming up with ways to fulfill the “Have Fun” portion of our motto! And what a perfect way to tie in the “Make a Difference”. Proud to be part of such a motivating community.

I was bombed at the major seminar and had to drive 8 hours home with 15 magnets all over my car. It was funny to see peoples faces when we drove by. I completed my task and I passed on the bombing to someone else. What a great way to pass it forward and help establish our Life on Life initiative.

Awesome Bill! Thanks for sharing 🙂 And great idea keeping the magnets on until you did your chartible act! I love it!

Hey everyone, I just got bombed at the open meeting last night. It was great because I had to take my daughter to volleyball practice first thing in the morning. It made for a great conversation about making a difference in our community. LIFE is great, lets pay it forward!
Kristen Seidl says
That’s awesome Dan! And great point, what an awesome conversation starter for making a difference.

Revenge is a dish best served . . . magnetized! There are some teams (ours included!) that better watch out for their cars at upcoming Seminars and PBO parties. or they will be bombed!!
Of course, the Rascals of Kaizen were one of the teams that picked up this ball and ran with it, Chris! What else did you expect of us?? We were all so delighted to see Tony & Pat’s car (the white one with NY tags above) on social media the next day!
We are starting a list of deeds for when (not if!) we are bombed, including serving at a food pantry, serving at a soup kitchen, reading for a story time to children at the library, picking up trash and so on. We’ve also considered baking something for an elderly neighbor or making a meal for new mother, helping out at a senior Bible study at a nursing home our church sponsors, volunteering at Vacation Bible School through our church this summer, or finding a Habitat for Humanity project locally to work on one day.

LOVE IT!!! 🙂 Any chance there will be a bulk discount for magnets? Perhaps 50% off for 20 or more?
leslie barnett says
How about a percentage of the sales of the magnets go charity?
Diane Stelter says
We got magnet bombed leaving our hotel on Sunday morning of the Major in Green Bay. When we got home I went out and bought ALOT of diapers for a local charity that collects them for moms in need. You can be sure I bombed to more of our team members at our Business Launch on Monday evening!!
Kristen Seidl says
Awesome Diane!! Thank you so much for being an example for all those who get bombed. Great idea on buying diapers for that charity…an endless need! God Bless 🙂
Mike Lewis says
This is gonna be SOOOOO much fun
Pat Tefel says
Ok, so our car was magnet bombed in Ottawa at the Major, and we weren’t going to take them off until a good deed was done. An opportunity presented itself to Tony when he was out in a restaurant, and he bought 2 meals for some strangers having difficulty with their credit card. Not what we would necessarily thought of as charity, but it certainly felt like it to the person helped!! On to more giving to others. OH, AND TAG, YOU’RE IT RASCALS OF KAIZEN.
Teesa Rossman says
Our magnets are ordered, just waiting for them to arrive at our door. 🙂 Adam and I have always loved playing fun jokes on people, so this is right up our alley!
Adam M Rossman says
Got the magnets, and bombed our leaders, Steve & Kelli Sager at our PBO Promo yesterday afternoon…pictures to come!!
Kelli Sager says
I’ve never had so much fun laughing at our car when it got bombed!
