“The sole meaning of life is to serve humanity.” – Leo Tolstoy
Life Leadership Members continue to come up with creative ways to participate in the Life on Life Initiative. Over the past several months, volunteers from northern Wisconsin spent their time serving at the Bolton Refuge House on behalf of a former Life Leadership Member who recently passed away. Check out the story, written by Heidi Szymanski:
On March 2nd, 2016, Life Leadership Member, Rhonda Bridgwater, was promoted to Heaven at the young age of forty-nine. She was very much loved by her Life Leadership family and will be deeply missed.
Prior to her passing, Rhonda had expressed to several close friends that she had donated clothing and other items to the Bolton Refuge House in Eau Claire, WI. Bolton Refuge House Inc. creates a safe space through programs and services for all people impacted by domestic violence and sexual assault, and advocates for social change.
Rhonda loved to give to the women at the Bolton House because she, too, had dealt with abuse when she was a young mother and wife. So, in lieu of flowers, her Life leadership teammates pulled together almost $500 and compiled some women’s clothing to donate to the Bolton Refuge House in her loving memory. Her children also donated most of her clothing items there as well. Rhonda would be delighted to know that the causes she cared about continue to be supported in her memory.
Then on May 21st, 2016, in order to continue carrying on Rhonda’s legacy, a group of Life Leadership teammates gathered once again to help the Bolton Refuge house with yard work and donate more clothing items, personal care items, and money.
“She confided in friends that giving what she could to Bolton helped her heal and brought her peace. Rhonda believed very much in helping others, which is what led her to join the Life Leadership community in the first place. She made great strides personally, but mostly she blessed everyone she came in contact with just by being her sweet and caring self. We are happy to carry on her memory of serving others.” – Heidi Szymanski (Life Leadership Member)
Thank you to all of the Life Leadership Members from Team Results in northern Wisconsin, under the leadership of Bob and Tina Rasmussen, who participated in this worthy cause of contributing to Rhonda Bridgwater’s legacy.

This is such a wonderful tribute to one of the most caring and kind gals we were so fortunate to come to know. I know Rhonda is smiling down upon this project and she would be very humbled to know that this initiative was completed in her name. There is so much help to be done in this world, and the idea that Life Leadership is so encouraging and supportive to undertake such projects is a testament to the incredible company it is. #lovelifeleadership
